Privacy Policy

AgQuad (“we”, “us”) provides farm planning software for growers. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Last updated: July 2026.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, username, and credentials you provide at signup.
• Farm and field data: project locations, crop plans, calendar events, soil and water registration, financial summaries, procurement carts, and documents you upload (e.g. receipts, quotes).
• Location: when you use “Use my location” or field search in the mobile app, we process coordinates to find field boundaries. Location is used while the feature is active; we do not track background location.
• Usage and logs: IP address, device/browser type, and server logs for security, debugging, and rate limiting.
• Billing: subscription status via Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.

How we use information

• Provide crop planning, grow calendar, alerts, procurement, workspace collaboration, and billing.
• Authenticate you and protect accounts (including login rate limits).
• Improve reliability and support.
• Send transactional email (password reset, workspace invites, notifications you enable).

Third-party services

We use trusted processors who receive only what is needed to provide the service:

• OpenAI: powers the grower AI assistant. Field context (crop, soil, tasks, summaries) is sent to generate replies. Do not enter data you are not authorized to share. OpenAI’s terms and data policies apply to that processing.
• Google Maps / Places: map display and address search (mobile and web).
• Stripe: subscription checkout and billing.
• AWS: hosting, databases, and file storage.
• Public data sources: weather, market, and geospatial APIs used for agronomic features.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with processors listed above, with workspace members you invite, and when required by law. Supplier quote submissions are shared with participating suppliers only as part of the procurement workflow you initiate.

Retention and security

We retain account and farm data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account in the AgQuad mobile app (Account → Delete account) or by contacting us. Deletion removes your profile and associated field data from our servers. Passwords are hashed; mobile sessions use secure device storage. Production traffic uses HTTPS.

Your choices

• Update profile and farm data in the app.
• Decline location permission (some map features will be limited).
• Delete your account in the mobile app (Account → Delete account), or contact us.
